This class was developed to meet the diverse needs of students that cannot always be met in an inclusive dance class. Movement and music appreciation are taught along with a sampling of various dance styles including Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Contemporary.
The foundations for safe and healthy exercise are explained and adhered to. Warm up and cool down are Yoga and Pilates inspired movements and stretches designed to get the heart pumping and the back to resting rate.
Each students’ individual needs and abilities are an integral part of developing exercises and choreography.
