After attending a summer dance camp with Akimbo, Milo started his journey of dance training at the age of 3 with a Jazz/Tap Combo class. He took a little break and enrolled in Ballet at Nuance at the age of 5. Milo completed the R.A.D grade four Ballet exam in 2016. He completed the Intermediate Advanced level of R.A.D Ballet and trained en Pointe for 4 years. At age 10, Milo was invited to attend a Gymnastics program at K.G.T.C. He added Acro at age 12, as well as attending a French Circus Camp, where he focused on Aerial Arts. Milo is also trained in Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Modern and Contemporary. He joined the Akimbo Competitive Team in 2018. Milo has promoted dance through community events including: Canada Day, Boogie the Bridge, the Children’s Art Festival and the Downtown Spring Festival. He has participated in workshops of various styles such as: Hip Hop, Tap/Stomp, Bollywood, Swing, Line Dance and Square Dance. Milo successfully completed Akimbo’s exclusive training program, Emerging Educators. He is also certified in Progressive Ballet Technique, Leap ‘N Learn, Preschool level Acro Dance, and Module One of Acrobatic Arts. He is looking forward to another season of inspiring young dancers.
